Orders are not showing up from my Storenvy shop

My orders aren't showing up on shipping easy from my Storenvy shop. I removed my shop and reconnected it again but still doesn't seem to show orders. I have had to input them manually. Any help appreciated =)

We've been investigating a few reports from Storenvy sellers that their orders were not syncing into ShippingEasy. Here are some of our recent finding:

Originally, the only form of payment that Storenvy offered was PayPal. So, many Storenvy sellers had the option of integrating their PayPal account or their Storenvy store with ShippingEasy.

While we always recommend using the "native" integration, integrating PayPal instead of Storenvy is very appealing for those on our Starter plan (which only includes 1 store integration for free) who sell on multiple platforms that all support PayPal. This allows all orders to funnel into ShippingEasy via a single integration, making it a very cost effective option.

Now, Storenvy has recently added support for using Stripe as a payment processor. For customers that opted to integrate PayPal with ShippingEasy, rather than Storenvy, this change resulted in Storenvy orders processed via Stripe no longer syncing into ShippingEasy.

Here are some ideas for working around this problem:

If you only sell on Storenvy, we recommend integrating your Storenvy store.

  1. First you'll need to archive your PayPal account.
    • Go to SETTINGS >> STORES & ORDERS.
    • Click the X next to your store.
  2. Then you'll need to connect your Storenvy store. Learn more here.

If you sell on multiple platforms that support PayPal, then your options depend on what kind of Storenvy account you have:

  • If you sell through the Storenvy marketplace, then you are required to use Stripe. Learn more here. You'll need to connect both your PayPal account and Storenvy store with ShippingEasy for all of your orders to sync.
    1. Add an additional store to your ShippingEasy subscription for $5 a month. Learn more here.
    2. Update your PayPal integration to avoid duplicate orders that are funneled through both PayPal and Storenvy. Learn more here.
    3. Integrate your Storenvy store with ShippingEasy. Learn more here.
  • If you have a custom storefront on Storenvy, the you can use PayPal and/or Stripe to process your orders. Disconnecting Stripe from your Storenvy store may be a good option for routing your new orders through PayPal instead. Learn more here.

Hi Angelica - Thank you for posting to our forums!
In order for Storenvy orders to sync, they must be in an "Open" status.

  • Are you able to confirm that the missing orders are "Open"?

My Shipping Easy account is no longer showing my open orders from my Storenvy for some reason. I've had no issues with it showing up before, so I'm not sure why they aren't now. I tried syncing the orders, tried disconnecting and then reconnecting my shop, but nothing is working.

It looks like we disabled the automatic downloads option for your Storenvy store, because your ShippingEasy account was idle for 21 days. 

This is to ensure available server space is used to optimize the application for active shippers and allow it to run as efficiently as possible. You can read more about this reason and how to turn that option back on using the link below:

Also, in case you missed it, keep an eye out for alerts at the top of your ShippingEasy account, we'll usually send one when this option is disabled.
