How to use ShippingEasy with Storenvy

Storenvy integrates directly with ShippingEasy. Storenvy is a platform for selling your products which makes it easy to receive orders and ship them to your customers. ShippingEasy will automatically send queries to read the orders from your Storenvy account and then load them into our application. Once shipped, shipment data will be sent back to your Storenvy store. To integrate your Storenvy store with ShippingEasy, follow our step-by-step guide.

Syncing Orders

Once Storenvy is integrated with ShippingEasy, orders that have been placed in the last 14 days will begin to appear on the ORDERS page. The following are frequently asked questions about syncing orders from Storenvy to ShippingEasy.

How often are my orders synced from Storenvy to ShippingEasy?

By default, ShippingEasy will sync with your store hourly to pull in any new orders.

How do I get existing Storenvy orders synced to my new ShippingEasy account?

If you have orders older than 14 days old, you can create manual orders for these shipments. Learn how to add manual orders one-by-one or via a CSV file.

Are all orders sent from my Storenvy store to ShippingEasy?

No. Only the orders that have a status in Storenvy of "Open".

What happens if I click Sync on the ShippingEasy ORDERS page?

The Sync link prompts ShippingEasy to pull through orders in an approved status. If your store is set up for automatic order downloads, selecting the Sync link will download orders since the last time a sync completed.

A sync is run automatically each night and can be run manually using the Sync link.

If you have disabled the automatic order download, you must use Sync to download your orders. It can take 15-20 minutes for orders to populate after selecting Sync.

Editing Orders and Shipments

ShippingEasy can recognize when certain changes have been made to an order in your store. For a complete overview, check out our FAQs on the topic. The following are frequently asked questions specific to Storenvy orders that are still on the ORDERS page.

What happens if I cancel an order in Storenvy?

If the order is on the ORDERS page in ShippingEasy then it will be removed automatically from ShippingEasy the next time ShippingEasy syncs up with your Storenvy account.

Shipment Changes and Updates

ShippingEasy updates your store with order information throughout the entire shipping process.

What information is sent back from ShippingEasy to Storenvy?

When an order ships, ShippingEasy will update the order in Storenvy with the tracking number and the carrier name (USPS, UPS, etc.). You can see this information on the order page in Storenvy:

Does the shipping cost get sent back to Storenvy?

No. The Storenvy software does not currently support receiving the shipping cost, but we are interested in adding support for that feature as soon as Storenvy makes it available.

If I combine two orders in ShippingEasy, do both orders get updated in Storenvy?

Yes, the shipment tracking information will be updated in Storenvy for both orders.

What happens if I split an order in ShippingEasy?

When you ship the first of the split orders, ShippingEasy will update the order in Storenvy, where it will display as partially shipped. After the last of the orders is shipped, it will display as shipped in Storenvy.

Orders and Product Information

ShippingEasy displays your order and product information on the ORDERS page, where you can customize what information you see. Learn more about customizing your ORDERS page.

What product information from Storenvy is displayed in ShippingEasy?

The following product details are displayed in ShippingEasy:

  1. Name
  2. SKUs
  3. Weights
  4. Price
  5. Product Options. In Storenvy product options are supported by creating what Storenvy calls variants. For example, if you have a shirt that comes in three colors, you would enter each color as a variant:

This information can be found by navigating to SETTINGS > Edit Store Settings link under the Storenvy store listing.

Can I disable the display of the product options?

No, not at this time - the product variant information from Storenvy will always be displayed in ShippingEasy, regardless of the setting of the Display Product Options checkbox. We are interested in hearing customer feedback on the importance of supporting this feature.

Why is the customer phone number not displayed on the Storenvy order when I look at it in ShippingEasy?

Storenvy does not currently make the phone number available to ShippingEasy.

Why is the billing address always shown as the same as the shipping address?

Storenvy does not currently make the billing address available to ShippingEasy, so the shipping address is displayed in its place.

Is the requested shipping method displayed in ShippingEasy?

No, not at this time. The Storenvy software does not provide the customer's selected shipping method to ShippingEasy, but we will add support for it as soon as Storenvy makes it available.

Does ShippingEasy support a product location (or warehouse or bin) attribute for Storenvy products?

Not at this time. Since support for a product's location is not a standard attribute in Storenvy, we are interested in hearing customer feedback on the importance of this feature.

Does ShippingEasy support a product weight attribute for Storenvy products?

Not at this time. Since support for a product's weight is not a standard attribute in Storenvy, we are interested in hearing customer feedback on the importance of this feature.

Email Notifications

Storenvy automatically sends shipment confirmation emails to your customer once their order has been shipped. Return label emails can be automatically sent to customers if they have included an email address with their order. Learn more about automatically sending prepaid return labels.

Can ShippingEasy send email notifications to my Storenvy customers when their orders ship?

Yes. On your ShippingEasy settings page for your Storenvy store, just check the box for the Send Buyer Shipping Confirmation Email option:
