We just started using shipping easy. All pre-existing orders from the few days before we started using shippingeasy won't "Send to Sihppingeasy" It simply doesn't work (and before you ask all Keys are set correctly and all options are enabled in Woocommerce setup for sending details to Shippingeasy).
New orders work but it won't send existing.
Since we're using the 30-day trial we don't have the option to Upload Order as a CSV from Woocommerce. Sooooooo, we have about 50 orders we will need to enter manually. However, how do we match these orders up to the existing ones in Woocommerce? If I just add the order manually and don't somehow match it up to the same order in Woocommerce it will not update the order status in Woocommerce?
Hi Brian,
Thanks for posting in our forums!
I have personally heard one other report where the "send to ShippingEasy" for existing orders in WooCommerce didn't work, however new orders were synced. In this case, the customer did have to manually enter their existing orders to ShippingEasy. I would be more than happy to have my Product Manager take a look into your account to see if we are able to glean any more information as to why existing orders won't export. Since you are on a paid plan type (not the Starter plan), if you are interested in investigating this further, please email your configuration information and logs to support@shippingeasy.com and we can take a look.
Regarding your manual orders, if you enter your orders as a CSV in ShippingEasy, we would not update to your WooCommerce store. You would have to update these as shipped on WooCommerce. We do have a way to export your CSV in a file that includes your tracking numbers if WooCommerce gives you the option to update your order status and tracking via CSV upload. We also have the option to email your customers shipment confirmations, so you may be able to forgo entering the tracking numbers in WooCommerce for these orders but your customers would still be notified that their orders have shipped.
We look forward to hearing from you!
Warm regards,
