credit card declined for no reason

for some reason i can not purchase postage now. I just used the same card online to make another purchase and I contacted my bank. Card is fine.

I went into my setup page and re did the CC info. Even though I used it 2 days ago to purchase postage. no change

this is the error
" The credit card purchase was declined by the customer’s bank. Error encountered (Log ID: 35938) "

Hi Jake - Thanks for re-posting this to the forum.

Have you had a chance to review the billing information for both of your Endicia accounts? I had noticed that there were different cards listed for each account (Endicia Expedited vs. Endicia First Class). So, you will either need to update both accounts to the one card that's been cleared through the bank or confirm with both card issuers that the card is OK.

Also, when you spoke with your bank, did you mention to them that you are trying to purchase postage? Postage is considered a form of currency so there are stringent regulations around it's purchase. If you've run through all of our troubleshooting tips for declined credit cards, we recommend reaching out to your bank once more to confirm that you're approved to purchase postage.

Thank you for your help. I changed my account info on Endicia and it is fixed.

I had no idea that I even needed to do anything to that account. The only billing section on shipping easy is in the setting page.
