How to add shipping providers

I am trying to sync up shipping providers, but all I get is this "You cannot create shipments until you have a valid Rate Provider configured. Please register or connect an account below in order to start shipping. " at the top of the page. None of the logos of the different shipping providers are buttons and there are no tabs to take me anywhere to resolve the issue. I have my endicia and USPS information but can't get to a page to give my information. I did try the "how to?" page and followed the directions but I keep getting the same results of this page and this message  "You cannot create shipments until you have a valid Rate Provider configured. Please register or connect an account below in order to start shipping."

What do I do? I can't us the service till this is taken care of

Hello Michelle - Thanks for reaching out to us! I'm sorry that you've been held up by this. Hopefully I can help point you in the right direction.

We provide access to USPS services through two Endicia accounts:

  • Endicia First Class
  • Endicia Expedited

These accounts are held with Endicia separately, but are both accessible via ShippingEasy. If you'd like to understand the specific differences between them, take a look at this article.

If you have your own Endicia account, you can continue to use this with ShippingEasy. It can be connected to your Endicia First Class port. Please keep in mind, however, that you may still be required to pay Endicia for using this service (you'll need to speak with Endicia about this). In contrast, any Endicia accounts you open through ShippingEasy are free of charge - you just pay for postage.

To connect an existing Endicia account to ShippingEasy:

  1. Click on the "Postage Balance" link in the top right of your ShippingEasy account.
  2. Locate the "Endicia First Class" logo.
  3. To the right of the logo, find and click the button that says "Connect existing account".
  4. Enter your account credentials and click "Connect Account".
  5. You now have access to USPS First Class, Media Mail, and Parcel Select.

We have an illustrate guide as well:

To open new Endicia accounts, for either (or both) your Endicia First Class and Endicia Expedited accounts:

  1. Click on the "Postage Balance link" in the top right of your ShippingEasy account.
  2. Locate the "Endicia Expedited" logo.
  3. To the right of the logo, find and click the button that says "Register FREE account".
  4. Enter your billing information, as Endicia will create an account for you at Endicia.com and use this information to bill you for postage.
  5. Select "Register Account".
  6. You now have access to USPS Priority Mail and Priority Mail Express.
  7. If you choose not to connect your existing Endicia account to the Endicia First Class port, repeat these steps for your Endicia First Class account.

We have an illustrated guide as well:

Let me know if I can clarify anything by posting your questions in the comments below. Thanks!
