Multiple SKUs per Unit Sold

New user here and maybe a dumb question... I'd like to use ShippingEasy to track and manage inventory levels for sellable and non-sellable items. The non-sellable items are parts of a sellable unit. For example: (shoes + shoe box + shoe box label + shipping box).

Only the shoes are purchasable, so I want ShippingEasy to update Shopify with the shoes inventory levels, but not the remaining items.

How do I set this up? TIA!

Hello Phil, and thank you for posting to our community!

For your specific situation, we would recommend setting up a linked inventory for your Shopify Shoes and levels, and then adding the non-sellable items to ShippingEasy manually or via a CSV file.

And this link explains: How to: Import Products and Update Existing Stock from your Shopify store

For manual adding, this link will explain: How to: Add new Product SKUs

Thank you and happy shipping!

Thanks, Jacen for the response and links. Is there a way for ShippingEasy to automatically track inventory levels for both the sellable and non-sellable SKUs, based upon the sale of a single unit?

For example:

Unit SKU### consists of:

- Shoe SKU### (sellable)

- Box SKU### (non-sellable)

- Packaging SKU### (non-sellable)

If Unit SKU### is sold, Then decrease item inventory levels for all related SKUs.

Is that parent/child inventory tracking possible? If so, how do I set that up in ShippingEasy?

Hi Phil,

Yes, we do have an option that might work for you, called Bundled Products.

A bundled product is an Inventory Integration feature that allows you to assign a single SKU to multiple products. This is useful if you sell multiple products as a pack or a group. The links below provide more information for that option.

Thank you.
