How to: Set up Bundled Products

Bundled products allow you to assign a single SKU to combinations of products. This can be useful if you sell multiple products as a pack or group. 

Once products are bundled, stock levels can be adjusted for all associated SKUs. That way, when a bundled SKU is committed to an order, each of the individual SKU stock levels will be adjusted accordingly.

How to: Convert an existing Product into a Bundled Product

  1. Navigate to the INVENTORY tab, then select the PRODUCTS page from drop down menu.

  2. Review your existing products to verify that you have a SKU entry for the master SKU (which will act as the bundle) as well as the SKUs that will be associated with the bundle. If there is not an existing SKU for each, follow these steps to add a new product.

  3. Locate the SKU you wish to set up as a bundled product and click the product name.



  4. On the product details page, select the Edit product button from the top right.

  5. On the EDIT page, move the dial button to ON by the phrase This is a bundled product.



  6. This will reveal the “Bundled Products” section.

  7. Use the Bundled Products search to locate the SKUs you wish to add to the bundle. 



  8. Once all SKUs have been added, click Save Product.

How to: Create a new Bundled Product SKU

  1. Navigate to the INVENTORY tab, then select the PRODUCTS page from drop down menu.

  2. Review your existing products to verify that you have a SKU entry for each SKUs that will be associated with the bundle. If there is not an existing SKU for each, follow these steps to add a new product.

  3. Click the +Add Product button.



  4. On the ADD PRODUCT page, fill in the details about your new product.

  5. Move the dial button to On by the phrase This is a bundled product.

  6. This will reveal the “Bundled Products” section.

  7. Use the Bundled Products search to locate the SKUs you wish to add to the bundle. 



  8. Once all SKUs have been added, click Save Product.

How to: Setup up Bundled Products in bulk via CSV

  1. Prepare a CSV file for the Product upload. Download a sample file.

    The prepared CSV file should have a column dedicated to "Bundled SKUs". Any SKUs that you wish to turn into bundled products should list the component products or variant SKUs and their required quantity in the "Bundled SKUs" column.

    Specify the Bundled SKUs using the following format:

    SKU: QTY | SKU: QTY | SKU: QTY

    Example: bl_sweater_lg: 1 | bk_sweater_lg: 1

  2. Save the file in CSV format. Learn more.
  3. Navigate to the INVENTORY tab, then select the PRODUCTS page from drop down menu.

  4. On the PRODUCTS page and with a prepared CSV file on hand, click the grey Upload Products link.

  5. From the CSV file menu, click Browse. After selecting your file, click Upload file.



  6. On the UPLOAD CSV: PRODUCT IMPORT page, map the "Source Column" to the "Bundled SKUs". Then select Continue.

  7. Your file will be displayed in the "Current Uploads" section.  Once ShippingEasy has finished processing the data, a green READY button will appear. Click the button.



  8. You'll have the option to review the data. Edit any fields that require an additional update by clicking the field. An edit dialog will appear. Once all the data looks in order, click the Complete Upload button.

  9. Your new bundled products are now set up!
