Unique Label Setting

0

Hi ShippingEasy -

My request pertains to label settings - it would be nice if we could set up unique label styles per store or type.

Examples:

We use a combo label/packing slip.  But for UPS or FedEx orders with multiple boxes, we have to go in and change the label settings to regular 4x6 labels.  It would be nice if there were a way to set that automatically, since if someone forgets to change the label setting back, we have a problem!

When a customer has a return request, we have to remember to change label settings to a 4x6 label, otherwise the customer gets an entire packing slip with their label.  Again, if we remember to change the label, we don't always remember to change it back.

Certain customers/stores may not want packing slips or have their own custom packing slips, and so it would be nice to select 4x6 labels for that customer specifically.

Thank you in advance for any consideration!

Hi Alec,

Thanks for your feedback. Per your request regarding per-carrier printing options, I'd like to redirect you to our existing thread here: Per-Carrier Printing Options

Per your request for per-store printing options, I'd like to also redirect you here: Per-Store Printing Options

If you can post to each of those, that would be great. Having one thread with everyone's feedback helps us to better monitor each individual request.

For your issue regarding return labels, I do have a suggestion. Have you tried turning on return confirmation emails? Here's how you can do that: How to: Send prepaid return shipping labels to my customers

If you do this, we shouldn't require you to print anything. Instead, your customer will simply be emailed a return label. This would work for all store types except for Amazon (as we do not provide an option to email return labels to Amazon customers).

Emailing return labels would eliminate 1) a need to download the PDF and manually email it to your customer and 2) remove the attached packing slip.

Thanks!
