misc features

Hello - there are several features that we could use that would make our lives with SE a lot better.  Please note the following:

1.  I would love to be able to attach a document (pdf or word doc) to an order as we do a lot of custom orders and these files would help us clarify the order

2.  Currently there is no way to sort the products in an order from the order view.  The products are sorted alphabetically in the pick list and packing slip, but I have to take the time to do print these out. I would really like to be able to sort the products in the order view.

3.   Currently we cannot create a duplicate order, only duplicate shipment.  So when a customer has a return, or wants to order another product through us directly and not through a store, we have to create a manual order.  This is problematic because (see #4)

4. I cannot copy and past anything from an order once it has shipped.  So to create a manual order, as in above, or exchange an order, I have to create a duplicate shipment, copy and paste customer info from edit area of shipment address, and then add the manual order.  Crazy.  I need to be able to copy and paste from orders even after they have shipped.

If creating a duplicate order isn't possible, I would love to be able to edit an order that was created as a duplicate shipment.  Currently this is not possible.

5.  I would like to be able to add more than one category to an order

6.  I would like all manual orders to automatically save customer info to my customer addresses

I have more but that is all for now!

Hi, 

Thanks for your post! I have documented all your requests but wanted to touch on a few things.

1.) We can create a PDF Packing Slip for each order. This will give you all the order details and can be printed directly from the Orders Page.

2.) The order that products appear is sent directly from the store. This has been documented as a Feature Request. 

3 & 4.) We can create a prepaid return shipment from an order that has processed through our system. This has been documented as a Feature Request to be able to modify contents.

5 & 6.) I have added these to our Feature Request as well. 

 If there are any updates, we will be sure to update this post and direct other customers to share their feedback here as well!
