Fedex OneRate Integration

Completed

Fedex has rolled out a flat rate program to directly compete with USPS. Their padded envelop is $9.50 coast to coast including residential fees and insurance for 3 day service. It should be a good option for shippers who need another cost effective shipping method.

should prioritize this due to new 2015 shipping fees without one rate for home delivery

Christine,

Thanks for reaching out. At ShippingEasy, we prioritize integrations and feature requests based on customer input as well as a few other factors. Having said that, our hope is to have OneRate available within the first half of the year.

As always, thank you for your feedback!

Happy Shipping!

This is definitely something I would use as soon as possible.

I am waiting, currently I need to go into FedEx directly to do this

Hi everyone. So sorry for the delay in the building of this feature. We definitely wanted to see it too but unfortunately, other development took priority this year. We're now freezing development through the end of the year to ensure the integrity of the application, but we'll reassess our priorities come 2016. If/when it's planned again, we'll update the thread. Thanks for your patience and understanding!

This post is over 2 years old. Can you provide an update when OneRate will be made available?

I second and third this request and have been waiting for it for several years. The major advantage FedEx One Rate holds for me is the ability to use it for Seller Fulfilled Prime orders on Amazon. Quite often Priority Mail doesn't meet Amazon's 2 Day Prime standards and so I have to pay for Priority Mail Express to fulfill Amazon orders. FedEx One Rate guarantees their delivery times unlike Priority Mail and so that would meet Amazon's standards at a very economical price. I would switch shipping solution providers even for one with a higher subscription cost if another provider were to have FedEx One Rate and ShippingEasy did not. Just saying, I like Shipping Easy but I would really like the capability of using One Rate.

+1 for OneRate option.

The first request for Fedex One Rate integration was over 2 YEARS AGO!

Several competitive shipping platforms already offer the integration (Shipworks, Shipstation,...).

Calling out to the product marketing folks at ShippingEasy, you dropped the ball on this. Please integrate soon or we'll have to look at moving to another platform.

Hello all,

Thank you very much for the posts. Unfortunately it looks like there was an issue with the notifications on this thread, so sorry for the delay in updates!

We have recently begun researching the requirements for adding FedEx OneRate to ShippingEasy and hope to deploy the service to the application soon. The research will begin this month, but just as with adding any new carrier service, the initial investigation is in-depth to make sure we include every necessary detail and can take time. Our product management team is looking to speak with any current FedEx OneRate shippers to make sure all use cases are considered. We'll send a note to the participants on this thread, but if you are currently shipping with FedEx OneRate and are eager to share your use case, please raise your hand here and we'll reach out directly.

Thank you again for your participation. We're excited to dive in on FedEx OneRate and hope to make it available soon.

Thanks,

Madilynn T. [ShippingEasy]

This is really dragging on... Other shipping softwares have integrated FedEx One Rate a long time... Completely unacceptable...

It appears this thread was started 46 months ago.  I was directed here by a ShippingEasy employee when I asked about OneRate offerings.  I, too, think it is absurd that other competitors have this function and the company I have used for many years now still does not offer it.  Come on...

Hello everyone,

Thank you for the posts and feedback.

While we did deploy FedEx One Rate briefly in 2017, unfortunately it was rolled back due to conflicts with our other FedEx services.

We are currently making efforts to make this a permanent option in ShippingEasy, but we do not have a specific release date at this time.

As soon as we have further updates on this feature, we will update this post. Keep an eye out for updates and happy shipping!

We are trying to reduce our shipping costs and Fedex is giving us a discounted rate for One Rate. But we cannot take advantage of that to use for Amazon Prime. Specifically, other customers will surely be given a discounted rate for One Rate to reduce costs with providing Amazon Prime shipping. Very competitive and all your other competitors already support One Rate.

I am actually going to be researching other systems that support both Amazon Prime and One Rate. If I find it, I will be switching from ShippingEasy.

Hi Scott,

Thank you for the feedback!

This is a feature we are currently working to implement. Once we finish testing and deploying this feature we will update everyone here in this post.

As there is some variability to this process, we do not have a specific release date at this time, but if everything goes right, we hope to bring this to ShippingEasy within the next few months.

Keep an eye out for updates and happy shipping!

I would like to see a feature for adding multiple OneRate paks to a single order that would comprise of several things shipping via Fedex Express OneRate.  We often use this when it comes to orders with multiple packages shipping via Fedex Ground and it's great.  As of now, we have to split each item into a new order and batch them.

Hi Sean,

This is available through our Add Packages feature! Just make sure you have labels set to the 4x6, then once the order is on the Ready to Ship screen, choose the carrier, service, and package! The 'Add Packages' will be below the dimensions!

Hi Sarraf Jewelry Inc,

We have this feature available. Just make sure your FedEx account is connected to ShippingEasy. Once you have an order on the Ready to Ship screen, choose FedEx as the Carrier and then one of the One Rate available services. This will prompt the One Rate packages to appear in the Packaging dropdown.

Learn more about FedEx One Rate.
