Created:   |   Updated:

ShippingEasy supports multiple packages within a single shipment for select carriers. This option is available for international shipments too!

Important information about multiple package shipments:

Carriers

  • Only UPS, FedEx and DHL Express shipments are eligible. Learn how to connect a carrier account.
  • USPS shipments are not eligible for multiple packages within a single shipment. However, you may use the duplicate shipment tool to generate multiple unique labels for a single order. Learn more

Domestic shipments

  • Specific label formats are required:
For Domestic, only the 4" x 6" Label or 4" x 6" Label (w/ Packing Slip) options, for printing to 4" x 6" label paper, are compatible. Learn more about label settings.

REMEMBER: For international shipments, only one customs form is printed per the entire shipment.
  10. Once the label has been purchased, a record of the multiple tracking numbers can be found in your SHIPMENT HISTORY. Click the button below the master tracking number to display the package details.

NOTE: the "Print" button in this window does not use your ConnectEasy settings - instead it always displays the shipment label in a new browser tab.

The multiple package feature would be very helpful to include with USPS shipments! We regularly have orders with multiple packages shipping via USPS, so the lack of functionality is troublesome.

As much of a fan I am to ShippingEasy so far, there is a glaring problem with shipping an order with multiple packages. The API capabilities should be there to be able to add multiple packages to an order for any printer. To process an order with multiple boxes being shipped, you either have to buy/rent a thermal printer, edit the order then ship and then duplicate the order and ship again, or have to "split ship" every order that comes through. This seems like a huge flaw with SE capabilities as the time/cost it will take to do those for every order that need multiple packages would pale in comparison to the time it would take ShippingEasy to set up the option to "add" a package to a shipment. Very disappointed in the non-urgency this is to ShippingEasy.

    Hello there Kevon,

Thank you for contacting ShippingEasy. Unfortunately, USPS does not support multi-box shipping currently. If this ever becomes available we will be happy to add this feature!

    Regards,

    SGBX Global, Inc,

We appreciate your interest in this feature. You will be happy to know that we are actively working on implementing the ability to use multipackage shipping on most other printer templates!

It will likely be very soon after our annual code freeze as we do not deploy changes to the application during the holiday season.

You should expect to see this in the first quarter of 2019!

    Regards,
