When i try to install ConnectEasy, it crashes. It gives me the error message "Python quit unexpectedly"

Hi Barry - Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

Do you recall what date you downloaded the program from ShippingEasy?

We released a new version of ConnectEasy this last Tuesday night (3/24/2015), so I'd like to identify if the newest version (v4.5.5) is experiencing the problem.

If you downloaded the program on Tuesday or before, I recommend that you download the latest version by going to SETTINGS >> CONNECTEASY.

I am also having this same issue as of 4 September. I am using the most current version available.

Hello Jeff - We had previously seen this error on some PCs and Macs, but our ConnectEasy team was able to resolve the problem that existed on our side of the application.

These days, when we see this problem on a Mac, it indicates that there is an issue with Python on the Mac computer. The best course is to reach out to Mac support to resolve the Python error.

Once you're able to do that, you may be interested in uninstalling and reinstalling ConnectEasy. We'll issue updates from time to time, so it's always best to have the latest version when troubleshooting. You can find more information in these articles:
