Kickstarter Integration

0

Hi ShippingEasy Team,

A Kickstarter Integration would be a great idea and would benefit ShippingEasy as much as it would the rest of us!

These Kickstarter Project Creators would most likely continue to use ShippingEasy for their newly established businesses even after their Kickstarter fulfillment is completed (provided the integration makes the process quick and painless). Win/Win.

The competition (ShipStation) has a BackerKit integration that helps with Kickstarter fulfillment. If ShippingEasy integrated directly with Kickstarter it would be even more convenient than the ShipStation solution.

Do it to it!

Cheers,
Nathan

Thank you very much for writing in.

We don't really have a guide for editing Kickstarter CSVs, I have spent over an hour searching the internet for anything out there to at least try and help, but I have never found anything better than mention of how to convert JSON files to CSVs using scripts.

While we do not have any immediate plans to add a Kickstarter integration I will pass on the information about BackerKit to our product team though, that may be a great way to add Kickstarter in, we do use other third party integrations so it is not at all out of the question.

We will keep this forum up to date with any changes.

Regards,

Matthew

Nathan,

What a fantastic integration suggestion. I have forwarded your request to our Product Team but also highly suggest mentioning your interest to the Kickstarter team, too.

We are always adding new partners and integrations. If you want, you can forward them our e-mail that directly links to our Business Development team for partnerships and integrations: businessdevelopment@shippingeasy.com

Thanks again!

Yes, Please!
I would love this.
And before integration happens, I'd love to know a way to import addresses from the spreadsheet that Kickstarter generates.

Hi Paul - I'm sorry you didn't get a response sooner! These are a couple of resources from our Support Center that can help you import orders and/or addresses from KickStarter:

Please keep in mind that while importing addresses to your Customer Address book is available on any ShippingEasy plan, only paid subscribers can use the order upload tool.

For anyone on a paid subscription, you may also want to consider adding a CSV store to your ShippingEasy account. This allows you to specifically brand any orders uploaded to that store, such as adding unique logos or messages to confirmation emails and packing slips. Here are a few other guides that can help make the most of these options:

Presently we don't have an eta on a KickStarter integration, but we'll be sure to post to the forums as soon as we do. Let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you manage your KickStarter orders in the meantime.

Any progress on this?

At the least, I'd like to see a step-by-step explanation of how to use the Kickstarter spreadsheets and the CSV Order Uploads feature to fulfill rewards.

Also, I'd suggest looking into BackerKit integration as well. That service groups like orders together, and makes the process much easier. They offer integration with a few services (ShipNaked and FloShip), and also offer many various exports in .csv format that could work with ShippingEasy.

Hello! I would like to add my vote to request an integration with BackerKit! Currently they work with: Ship Naked, Floship, Easyship, Amazon, Quartermaster Logistics, and GamesQuest. Please look into this, it would make my life so much easier!!!

Hi! Just updating my request: I just shipped a 9,000 package Kickstarter via BackerKit and I would really rather use ShippingEasy since it's so much better! I had to pay via EasyPost, and would rather use my Stamps.com account. Thanks!!
