How do I test the intigration in Prestashop?

I've installed the Prestashop module and entered in all the API keys and such but, I don't think that my store is actually communicating with Shipping Easy.

I tried using the "Send to Shipping easy" button to send an order and nothing showed up on the Shipping easy site.

How do I go about testing the communication between my site and Shipping Easy?

Hi Alan,

Have you seen our integration guide? Please make sure you have completed all of the steps in the guide to integrate successfully.

Once you have integrated your store, you'll need to configure PrestaShop to send the specific statuses of orders that you would like to pull into to ShippingEasy. Our guide on how to use Prestashop with ShippingEasy contains instructions to set which statuses are sent to ShippingEasy.

After you have verified your setup and status settings, you can try to send your existing orders to ShippingEasy.

Lastly, you can confirm the order sent to ShippingEasy in the Messages section of the order detail screen in PrestaShop. It will contain an entry that ShippingEasy successfully created an order.

I noticed that the Test Mode in the ShippingEasy module simply disables the integration with Prestashop altogether - it does not actually allow you to test anything. You need to set the Live Mode button to "Production" in order to see shipments flow from one system to the other.

Hi Cameron,

Our integration with PrestaShop does require the store to be live in order to send orders to ShippingEasy, so in those terms, the option to test while the store is in test mode, is not possible.

However, I strongly suggest you place a feature request for this. This is how we monitor interest in changes to the app. These requests are regularly reviewed by our Product Manager and CEO.
