- Do you require the upgraded plan to use two printers. one to print invoice/pick sheet using laser printer and one to print our 4x6 label using dymo 4xl.

Ok Jennifer, we spent the $5.00 for Connect Easy because we need both a laser jet printer and DYMO label printer with out choosing which one prints what, so now the labelmaker and the scale will not work since removing the applets. Your ConnectEasy software is some of the worst behaving software we have installed in the last 20 years. It will not completely uninstall, it leaves Connecteasy.exe running after it is uninstalled. Then when you try to reinstall in complains that ConnectEasy.exe is running. Click Yes to Shut down and continue installation, or click No to Exit. Then after it finally installs it complains: Internal error:CallSpawnServer: Unexpected response:$0.
This is the first time in 20 years I can't get any support just to get the software and equipment operational. When we try to use Connect Easy it say's Incorrect passphrase even when I cut and paste it directly from Shipping Easy. Your instructions and picture examples show being able to Modify setting in Connect easy. we can't see anything other than the screen to insert passphrase. As of 6:00pm Thursday I have spent another 4 hours trying to make this software work for my client. Make me wonder how any one can use your software. I need to talk with someone in support as ShippingEasy is actually Shipping Hard at this point.

Hi Ken - Thank you for all these details. It's very unfortunate that you've run into so many problems configuring ConnectEasy. It sounds like you've encountered a rare, but known bug on Windows PCs that we've been working with the developers at Print Node to fix. The error:
Internal error:CallSpawnServer: Unexpected response:$0.
is seen after the Start up wizard completes, but before you have an opportunity to provide the ConnectEasy login credentials.
The good news is that you can still complete setup of ConnectEasy. When you see this error:
- Click the x to exit the dialog.
- From the Start menu, select All Programs, then ConnectEasy, then ConnectEasy.
- When the launch dialog opens, enter your ConnectEasy login credentials. You can retrieve these from ShippingEasy. Go to SETTINGS >> CONNECTEASY and copy and paste the identifier and pass phrase into the ConnectEasy launch dialog. TIP: if the credentials will not be accepted, copy and paste them into a text/notepad app first. Then select only the characters - no spaces.
ConnectEasy works best when there is only one installed copy on a computer. If you have started installation multiple times:
- Check within the Task Manager that the program is not running.
- Hold down CTRL + ALT + DELETE simultaneously to launch the "Task Manager".
- Click on the Processes tab to view all the current processes.
- Scan the list for ConectEasy.exe. If you find this, select it and click End process.
- Hold down CTRL + ALT + DELETE simultaneously to launch the "Task Manager".
- Once the program has been closed, uninstall ConnectEasy.
- From the Start menu, select All Programs, then ConnectEasy, then Uninstall ConnectEasy.
- Confirm that you would like to uninstall the program.
- Once completed, you'll be shown confirmation that ConnectEasy has been removed.
- Reboot your computer using the Restart option.
As extra assurance, you may want to search your computer files for any remaining records of ConnectEasy. The process above should completely remove all files, but depending on the sequence of events that preceded the uninstall process, there could be files left on the computer. If you locate and delete any remaining files, please reboot your computer once more before proceeding with installation.
As I mentioned, we are actively working with the developers of ConnectEasy, PrintNode, to resolve this error. To help us resolve this error, could you provide me with the following details about your setup and we'll share the data with the developers:
- Which version of Windows you are using.
- The browser that you used to download ConnectEasy.
I'm having this same issue for Windows 10. Everything worked fine until today. Getting the same server spawn error. I tried to log in by going to the start menu but its tells me the email/password is wrong. I've copied and pasted it as well.

It is not uncommon for an extra character/space to get added when copying the ConnectEasy passphrase from our site.
Can you try copying the credentials from your ShippingEasy account and pasting into a document on your computer? From there can you then copy and paste to ConnectEasy, making sure to avoid copying any extra spaces from the beginning or end of the Identifier and PassPhrase?
If that still fails to work, can you please send us a screenshot of the credentials entered into ConnectEasy and the error you receive, to the email link in the top left corner of your account?
