Shipping Confirmation Email

It would be very helpful if shipping confirmation emails were not held for 24 hours on a package when I print a label for on Sunday. Maybe give us an option of when to release the email or set it at a specific time on the morning of shipping. I drop packages 7 days a week, so my Monday morning package emails go out before my Sunday evening emails. I don't see a reason to hold these, while the packages haven't hit the mail stream, they surely are sitting at the post office.

Hi Tim. Thanks for reaching out. There are actually a few bits of information that come into play when emailing your customer confirmation emails. Have you seen this article on when they are emailed out?

Although that may clarify why we do what we do, I will also forward your request to our Product Team for a more specific setting per store regarding when emails go out.

Yes I saw that, but that certainly doesn't clarify why you hold the email until the exact hour and minute on the ship date, just that you do. For instance, I like create labels around 11:00P before I go to bed. I would much rather be able to setup the emails to go out at say 8:00A on the "Ship Date", as opposed to 11:00P the next day. I think this would be a good option to add right under the "when to send the store the update" under the store settings.
