Why are you making your site so difficult to use? Why disable automatic Sync only because I haven't shipped in 21 days?

Shipping Easy, your site is not very easy or friendly lately. Specifically I am referring to your practice of turning off my auto sync in my shipping account and not automatically syncing it with shopfiy.

I think you people miss the point of us having a FREE starter account. I have that, because I'm a small business owner -- I DON'T HAVE A LOT OF SHIPPMENTS, and I am trying out your service, essentially to see if I like it -will I stick with it - if my online shipping store get's bigger.

But everything you do lately is making it MORE DIFFICULT for your free account users. If anything, you're providing an incentive to me to look elsewhere and completely ditch Shipping Easy altogether in favor of a company that works with the small customer in a much more friendly way.

Stop turning off the autosync. That's so annnoing and unnecessary. It doesn't even serve any purpose.

Hi Bill,

I am so sorry to hear you are having a rough time as that is definitely not what we want. In order to address your concerns, I first want to explain a bit as to why we automatically disable syncing.

Disabling syncing helps our customers both individually and as a whole. We do have some accounts that are idle for long periods of time and to be constantly syncing orders for an account that's not active puts a tremendous load on the servers, potentially slowing down all accounts. Disabling inactive accounts ensures that our servers are able to best serve active accounts.

Disabling automatic sync doesn't disconnect the API, it just means that you'll need to manually request that your orders download via the sync with store button. Alternatively, you can turn back on automatic sync if your volume picks back up which will automatically prompt syncing from the last time ShippingEasy synced, bringing in any missing orders.

That said, it looks like you use Shopify so you may actually be able to use this functionality to you benefit. To best manage your orders, our Shopify API lets you choose which statuses sync

By disabling the automatic syncing, you can get more control over which orders sync into ShippingEasy - you can move them between statuses and then select sync with store once only the orders that need to be shipped are in the correct statuses.

Of course, I have made a note of your concerns here and have forwarded your feedback to our Product Team as we certainly don’t want to deter any customers from using us! Thanks again for your feedback!
