USPS Shipping Label: Notes "edit"

0

The ability to transfer/import Woocommerce attributes to print on the USPS label is fantastic -- IF I used Woocommerce's internal attributes.

I don't. I use a third party plugin to handle attributes, so the ShippingEasy plugin won't export those to the web app.

How about offering the option for me to edit shipping label notes per order, so that I can put the proper info on each label?

Hi there,

This is a really interesting suggestion. I know that we'd love to have more customizable labels but at this time, the formats we offer are what USPS and Endicia have approved. However, if we do ever customize a bit more, this feature would be fantastic! I'll forward your request to our Product Team.

In the meantime, I'm not sure if you utilize packing slips, but they would likely help your process out as attributes would likely fully be displayed on the slips (as long as they come into ShippingEasy to begin with). I see that you are using a thermal printer. With ShippingEasy, you can actually use a format that would automatically print a packing slip with the label.

See more here: How to print packing slips with your labels. If you didn't want to use thermal paper for your packing slips, you could also turn on ConnectEasy and allocate your labels to go to the thermal printer, and packing slips to go to a laser or inkjet.

I think that printing packing slips with your labels would serve as a great (at least temporary) solution so that you can pack more easily. I hope this helps!

Packing slips are unfortunately useless because they don't import the most important data from our Woocommerce installation.

I would LOVE to use them, but alas they just aren't useful at this point.

Hi again,

What information are you wanting to see on the packing slips that we don't offer? I'd be happy to forward it to our Product Team, too!
