Flat Rate Green

I'm a little confused about Flat Rate Green. I thought during my initial call that I was told that I could NOT use flat rate or regional rate boxes and get flat rate green pricing. It appears from the FAQs that I can use flat rate or regional rate boxes and get Flat Rate Green pricing. Please clarify.

Hi Brian - Thanks for seeking clarification.

ShippingEasy's Flat Rate Green is dimensional-based pricing. It is available on USPS Priority Mail shipments, as are Flat Rate and Regional Rate boxes. However, USPS Flat Rate boxes and Regional Rate boxes can only be used for those specific services.

In other terms, here is a break down of when you are eligible for each rate - each one is considered USPS Priority Mail:

Flat Rate box rate = when using USPS Priority Mail Flat Rate boxes. These boxes will say "Flat Rate Box" on them, with a size indicator (small, medium, large). The rates on these boxes are determined solely on the type of box selected. Click the links for their free ordering page:

Regional Rate box rate = when using USPS Priority Mail Regional Rate boxes. These boxes will say "Regional Rate Box" on them, with a type indicator (Box A or Box B). The rates on these boxes are determined both by the type of box selected and the distance that the package is traveling. Click here to learn more about Regional Rate. Flat Rate Green rate = when using your own boxes, or USPS branded boxes that are not one of the options listed above, your shipments are eligible for weight or dimensional rates. Flat Rate Green is a dimensional rate option, and ShippingEasy will provide you with a Flat Rate Green quote if you (1) are subscribed to a qualifying account [plus and above], (2) enter the dimensions of your packages, and (3) the dimensional rate is less than the weight rate.
