Can I ship to Canada with the FREE plan type?  If so, how do I do that?  I entered the address, but the shipping fee did not populate.  Please let me know asap - today.  Or, give me a number I can call. Thanks.

Hi Susan -

Shipping services to Canada are available on any plan, as long as you have a carrier account configured. I see that you have an Endicia Expedited account. So, you could either select USPS International Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express services.

When I review your unshipped international orders, I see that one of them has an address error. If you ever find that we can't return a rate, it's good practice to verify that the address is complete.

This article will show you how to do so:

Double check that each address line has been entered into the correct place. In addition, make sure that there is information listed for each line:

  • Address line 1
  • City
  • State/Province
  • Country
  • Postal Code

Some services also require a phone number.

We have additional information in this article:

I hope this points you in the right direction. Please let me know in the comments below if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Jennifer - I'm still having trouble with this.  There are no rates for Canada showing.

Hi Susan - I see an unshipped order to Nova Scotia, but it appears that the postal code is on the Address Line 2 field. Please try moving the postal code to the "Postal Code" field. This should allow you to retrieve a rate.

Hello Jennifer - Thank you.  I got the quote, but it's very expensive. Question:  How are some of these small companies able to afford to send items to Canada?  My client won't pay $43.65 to ship to Canada.

Hello Susan - International shipping costs will run more than domestic shipping. However, most international buyers are OK to pay for shipping. So, we recommend that merchants targeting international customers extend these shipping costs to their customers. This places the cost on the buyer, not the seller.
