Hi Everyone,

ShippingEasy has added support for two-way inventory sync for Etsy integrations, when Inventory management is enabled. As Etsy orders are received, stock levels are updated within ShippingEasy. In addition, ShippingEasy can update Etsy stores with stock level changes. Learn more about enabling inventory tracking for Etsy.

We've also added the ability to Import Products from Etsy stores. Now, you can easily import any products not already saved in your ShippingEasy products catalog. Learn more about importing products

Hi Peter

Thank you for your interest in our new inventory management solution. We plan to add more store platforms to our two-way sync over the coming weeks and months.

Unfortunately, Etsy does not currently support SKUs, so we do not currently have a way to track inventory for Etsy. Once Etsy does add in support for SKUs, we will be able to consider adding them to our inventory management syncing.

As of now, we are still accepting all requests and feedback before making decisions on the next store platforms to focus on. Feedback helps us to learn how many customers are interested in each feature and prioritize what we should work on next.

Agreed, I would sign up for ShippingEasy's inventory management in a heartbeat if it could update Etsy product quantities.  I still can't believe Etsy has yet to add product SKUs. Seems like a must for online commerce these days.

Madilynn,

etsy may not use skus but why can't we use our product titles as a sku? every product title is different/unique.

I may be switching to a different provider because you don't support both etsy & shopify :(

I just started using OrderHive because they have Etsy & Shopify inventory management. They had me link or "merge" skus from my shopify shop to the same item in my etsy shop. It works flawlessly! I am hoping ShippingEasy can figure out how to do this, so I can switch!!! Please add Etsy to your inventory management!!!!!! I am begging!!!!

or what about using the Etsy url for each item as a sku, they are all unique!

Hi Jesse,

Thank you for your feedback and I've share this with our team for consideration. Etsy is a store platform that we would like to add two-way inventory support for in the future, but the methods for us to support and implement this are still under consideration.

We are still accepting all requests and feedback before making decisions on the next store platforms to add to inventory management. We are monitoring our forums for this feedback and we've documented your support for Etsy. Feedback helps us to learn how many customers are interested in each feature and prioritize what we should work on next.

Yes, there's got to be a way Shipping Easy can use the unique listing ID's in Etsy product URL's for two-way inventory mgmt.  I use those same unique listing ID's in my Quickbooks to import all of my sales.

Hi Kathleen,

Thank you for this additional information. As I'm sure you've heard, earlier this week Etsy announced that they will be adding support for SKUs in within their shop manager. You can read more about this announcement here: https://www.etsy.com/seller-news

Due to this we will wait to add 2-way inventory support until after this update has been completed by Etsy. As soon as Etsy has added support for SKUs we do plan to update our integration to support this and make use of this new information.

I will update this thread again once this work has been prioritized.

Great news everyone!!   Etsy has just enhanced the listing manager and they now have SKU's !!   It is very easy to use.  I really hope ShippingEasy will integrate with them now b/c I have been forced to start using Orderhive as well for inventory.

Hi Luke & Jacob,

Thank you for your posts. We're also excited about Etsy's new SKU support. As SKUs are currently only supported in the new Shop Manager prototype ShippingEasy is waiting to add support for this until after it has been released to all sellers. As I mentioned in an earlier post we do plan to add 2-way inventory support once Etsy's phased SKU rollout has been completed.

I will update this thread again once this work has been prioritized.

SKUS on Etsy are now available to everyone!!! not just the prototype. I hope that shippingeasy is ready for the integration! I have been using orderhive and can't wait to make the switch to shipping easy.

Tessa, has any progress been made adding Etsy to Shipping Easy inventory management?

Hi Jesse,

We've started development work to add support for Etsy SKUs in ShippingEasy. This work is initially focused on adding Etsy SKUs to the orders that pull into ShippingEasy. This means that we'll be able to decrement inventory on order intake but we won't yet be able to sent inventory updates back to your Etsy store. This work should be completed in the next week or two. Then, once this is completed we have a separate request in queue to add support two-way inventory support for Etsy.

I will update this ticket again once we are able to pull in SKUs on order intake. I will also advise once we have a more accurate timeframe for when two-way inventory sync will be supported on Etsy.

Is the 2 way Etsy integration in place now?  I noticed in the settings that I am able to link skus and set available stock at store.

Hi Jacob,

Yes, we just added support for two way inventory sync on Etsy this week! As you noticed if you would like to enable this setting you can do so within your Store Settings. This is explained in more detail here: https://support.shippingeasy.com/hc/en-us/articles/209283146-How-to-Enable-inventory-tracking-for-my-store

We've also added the ability to import any products not already in your ShippingEasy products catalog directly from Etsy. You can learn more about how to do this here: https://support.shippingeasy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115002465963-How-to-Import-my-Etsy-product-SKUs-to-my-Products-catalog

UPDATE: ShippingEasy retired the Inventory Management subscription in June of 2020. Our Product Catalog stores a comprehensive list of the products you sell and allows you to add your product information to leverage product and SKU details to ship more efficiently. Learn more about our Product Catalog.

Existing Inventory Management subscribers will still have the ability to use the features specific to Inventory Management, however, we are no longer supporting new subscribers.
