We ship out a lot of items using First Class Flat Shipping
I added a .05oz 4x8x.05 "Bubble Mailer" as a Package Type.
When making the Carrier Selection, if I choose this as my packaging, I'm not able to select the flat rates.
Is there a way around this?

In order to use the Priority Flat rate options from USPS, you will need to use specific Flat Rate packaging provided for free from USPS. The article below provides links to all USPS free packaging, including the Flat Rate materials.
USPS Supplies: Ordering Details (FREE)
Once you have obtained your free Flat Rate packaging supplies, you can then use the flat rate packaging options automatically listed in ShippingEasy for the Priority Mail service.
However, if you wish to use your specific bubble mailer packaging only, you will not be able to ship that via flat rate unfortunately, but you can still ship via First Class, or regular Priority.
