Hello,
I was wondering if someone could verify for me whether or not USPS Schedule a Pickup is available for First Class Package Service only?
I have found conflicting information in various knowledge articles here on ShippingEasy and elsewhere on the internet. Perhaps some articles are old or out-dated, I don't know.
One article here says yes you can, but you have to go to the USPS website and schedule a pickup, and it must be First Class Package Service Rate. Another article says no, you have to have at least one Priority Mail package to schedule a pickup.
USPS lists First-Class Package Service-Commercial™ items as eligible here:

I am asking because the vast majority of what I will be shipping will be in the form of a bubble envelope with First Class Package postage/rate only (No Priority Mail), and I would prefer to have the mail person pick it up rather than wasting time running to the post office or a blue drop off bin. It's not a problem if I have to do so on the USPS website. I just need to know whether this would qualify for the pickup service or not.
Bottom line:
Can I schedule a USPS pickup if I am shipping only a bubble envelope with First Class Package postage or not?
Thanks.
Hello Jeremy, and thank you for posting to our community.
Unfortunately it is not possible to schedule a USPS pickup within ShippingEasy for only First Class Package Service shipments. If you have other shipments being sent via another USPS service, then it is possible to schedule a USPS pickup for all.
However, if your shipments are limited to First Class Package Service only, you will want to schedule your pickups via the USPS.com Schedule a Pickup page.
Thank you!
