Currently we do have a $Rate column on the Orders page that will display the rate quote for an order, based on the assigned Saved Carrier Selection. 

Are you looking to get rates listed for orders without Saved Carrier Selections assigned? If so, have you considered setting up Saved Carrier Selections and assigning those via Shipping Rules for those orders? I've posted some links below that could help with that setup.

If assigning Carrier Selections will not work for you, can you provide us with more details regarding the orders you are not seeing a rate listed for, and how you process those?

Nope, not at all what I am suggesting.

A TOTAL of ALL Shipments in $Rate column

If I have 50 orders, I have to manually add them up to find out what my total shipping cost is going to be for the day.

It would be nice to have the Orders page provide the Grand Total of Orders with shipping rates assigned (via Saved carrier)

The screen shot below has only one order and is only for illustrative purposes, but it describes what I am after.

At this time, we don't have a specific release date for this feature but it is on our team's list to consider for prioritization. I've gone ahead and logged your support of this as well. As we already have a running thread regarding this feature request, please follow on this thread.
