Product Options to Carry Over to Shipments on Manual Orders

Did you know that when manually creating an order, and if your product has "options" added when manually creating that order, that those "options" do not carry over to the shipment? The only way (I've found) that it does, is if the order comes through the site.

I actually create just as many manual orders than orders that come from the site so it would be nice if this was correctly applied to my products so when the customer receives branded tracking emails, they see exactly what they ordered.

The ability to add options to a product when manually creating an order should not just be for internal use only.

Incidentally, the ability to have "product options" only appears when you create the manual order, complete it, THEN go back to edit it. It is at THAT point "product options" appear for one to add. I don't get that one. So with that said, you have to backtrack a little bit just to add those options in to the order. That part could be streamlined.
