Shipment History Page, Delivery Status Inaccurate

Delivery status icon is incorrect on my page for the last 90 day period. Several items still show as in transit, but when the tracking number link is used, USPS shows items as delivered for quite some time.

Why is this page inaccurate??

Hi Michael,

Thank you for posting to our forum!

To answer your question:  the delivery icons are based on the USPS tracking updates.  Sometimes the USPS can have issues or disconnects; we have seen instances where these will not update properly when that happens. The delivery icons are there for a quick view, but you should still go by the info on the USPS site for the definitive tracking status.

I see that your most recent shipments are showing the correct icon. I encourage you to reach out to us again if you see incorrect icons and we can let you know if the USPS had any recent issues or disconnects that we are aware of.

We're having the same issue... regarding Aug 24th/25th USPS shipments... dozens are showing as "NEW" whereas the USPS website tracking shows "In-Transit" or even "Out for Deliver".

Is this to be expected from the USPS API interface and this data just won't be up-to-date for some time.?

We're having to check each tracking number manually to verify proper shipment (label creation and out the door) with a remote warehouse.

The USPS site had an outage on 8/21-8/22 but that shouldn't be affecting your shipments from 8/24-8/25.  I will start a ticket with the Development Team to see if this is something they could update in the backend or not.  As soon as I hear back, I will circle back with you.

Hi Guy,

I have an update from the Development Team:  they have reached out to our contact at USPS to see why this group of shipments did not have the tracking information sent to us.  Please note that the time to resolve can sometimes take quite awhile since we will be going back and forth with USPS via email.  As soon as I hear more, I will let you know.  Thanks!
