USPS International Labels & Packing Slips

0

Please change this every time I have to use an 8.5 x 5.5 label for USPS International Labels- I have to go back in and reprint a packing slip as it doesn't populate. This happens every time I have to send more than 5 items internationally. Can we get an option where you can print an international label and packing slip printed under one regardless of how many items are on the order.

When you have multiple international orders in this way it is really takes too much time.

Hi Nicola,

Thanks for the feedback and I understand the frustration here. While we consider this request and place it in our queue, my best suggestion would be from the Ready to Print page, once you have your labels to then select to 'Print labels and packing slips'. This will give you a separate label PDF to your packing slip PDF but will ensure you dont need to print packing slips one by one.

My other suggestion would be if you are shipping 5+ items that are similar, you can consolidate them on Ready to Ship in the customs form area using the Add/Edit/Delete buttons. This will allow for example if you have an order with 10 t-shirts, each listed as separate line items, you can consolidate these into 1 line item with qty of 10. Then, you will be able to continue to use the 4x6 with packing slip label setup.

Thanks,

Melissa

On behalf of Nicola:

Thanks for coming back to me. The problem ain't with the postage label it's the fact that the packing slip won't print with the postage label.  I can't consolidate items as I send them to a shipping company who use the slips to fulfill the orders

Hi Nicola,

I want to make certain I am understanding your exact printing situation. Are you using a page that contains both an 8.5" x 5.3" label also has a label that could be used for the packing slip?

Thanks,

On behalf of Nicola:

When I have a large international order I have to use the 8.5 by 11 size label because all the items won't fit onto the label, but I also need a packing slip for shipment - so then I have to go back into the account and print off a separate packing slip..

Agree - there is a domestic label / packing slip combo option which allows you to print to an 8.5 x 11 page, with one-half adhesive and one-half without adhesive. Making this an option for International shipments would be a tremendous efficiency score. The postage can be peeled off and affixed, while product is pulled and packed from the packing slip which is then folded in half and inserted into the package. Same as a domestic shipment. Thx,

As long as they are the same price, country of origin, etc, right?

Hi - Not all my products are the same price and same sku numbers so that I don't think will work.. Its so frustrating that when I have a large international order and a regular international order on the same day I have to process them separate because of the settings - all I want to do is be able to print an international postage label and packing slip all under one without changing settings...

Sharona,
We solved the domestic combo label/packing slip issue by going to a dymo laser printer. We're able to print at my labels with packing slips for domestic and just sticky labels for international. Added bonus, we can now print over 40 labels per minute! Not bad for a $150 solution. The time saved will recoup the cost of the printer in less an a few weeks!
