Unable to create manual order

It is 10:15 PM EST. I am unable to create a manual order. When I enter the info and press create order it says "Verifying address ans saving" like it normally does, but it is stuck there. Over 5 minutes and this is my second try. Will have to print the label else where.

Hello Ed - Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I apologize for the delayed response in the forums here.
On Wednesday, during regular maintenance, our developers touched on a bug that affected the ability to enter manual orders. We quickly found and corrected the error, but I'm terribly sorry that this prevented you from using ShippingEasy to process your shipment.
For others that may happen upon this question, a more common problem seen entering manual orders results from trying to "Paste & Parse" and address that cannot be validated. We recommend selecting the option to "Show Fields" and enter the address line by line. If this still produces a validation error, there are a few tricks that you might try to confirm if it's a "good" address:

  • Run the address through USPS' address look up tool.
  • Search the address in a search engine or mapping tool.
  • Verify with your customer that the address is correct and choose the option to "Use Anyway".
