Hi Sophia - Thanks for chiming in!

I'd love to learn a little more about how you would use this feature. Could you provide a scenario in which you'd need to print multiple labels for the same order?

Hi Jennifer. There are multiple instances in which we would use this. Primarily when we have large orders that do not fit in one box. This is something we have multiple times a day and can easily go over 10 boxes. We also have items that requite their own packaging separate of the rest of the order.

Using Worldship for example we can input the dimensions of the first box and then click to add a second package. This automatically keeps the same shipping address on the screen and allows us to input the dimensions for the second package and so on

Another feature with that is the ability to fill in a memo field that prints on the label. We use this to say something like "Box 2- Large USPS" so that the person putting on the label knows which one goes on which box. It is my understanding that this is an Endicia limitation, but it is definitely something we would like to see.

This is also a useful feature for me and I'd use it if/when USPS Insurance is offered. My scenario is that one of the products that I sell weighs 100 pounds and I need to split it into two 50 pound medium flat rate boxes (because of the 70 pound weight limit). Right now, if I sell the product via eBay, I just print two USPS shipping labels through eBay's interface. Otherwise, I purchase two identical labels via Click-n-Ship.

Ray and Sophia,

It sounds like what you are wanting multi-box shipments for USPS where it works exactly the same way we have it working for UPS/FedEx (as seen here). Is that correct?

As we do not currently offer this, my next best suggestion is using the duplicate/split tool.

  1. Duplicate Tool
  2. Split Orders Tool

Ray, I think these should help you in your scenario and I hope this is helpful in the meantime.

Sophia - I see your other posted suggestion for notes here: https://support.shippingeasy.com/hc/communities/public/questions/202197649-Adding-a-note-to-postage-labels

I will respond soon. Thanks!
