I would like to see a feature to edit an order before we create a shipment. (example: add a product to existing order or deleting a product from existing order) Sometimes an order can change later in the day and what has worked is I start a chat and they re-sync the order but that takes time. I want to manually re-sync or edit the products. Can this be done?

Yes, we have the option to edit an order after it has synced with ShippingEasy. Clicking on the notepad icon to the left of the V menu will open the edit order details page. Here you can edit order:
We also offer the option to disable the automatic order downloads in favor of manually downloading orders once they've been edited. Also, as a Volusion shipper, you have precise control over which statuses sync with ShippingEasy. Combining precisely selected statuses and manual downloads will allow you to only see orders within ShippingEasy that are completely ready to ship.
