Thanks for your request. Can you give me a sort of scenario or example where the delivery address didn't match USPS as well as when a customer's name wasn't correctly capitalized? I know for the latter, ShippingEasy adds the name to packing slips (and the like) as it came in. If it came in in all caps, we use all caps, etc.

Rachael, thanks for your response. Here is a simple example. Please understand the deliveries are be made without issue, even without standardization.

Address as we received:

Address as standardized by Endicia and USPS:

12345A 61ST CRES APT 3C
FRESH MEADOWS NY 11365-3720

Address as standardized by ShippingEasy:

12345A 61ST CRESCENT
3C
FRESH BEADOWS NY 11365-3720

ShippingEasy does not properly abbreviate “Crescent” and does not recognize the “3C” as an apartment number.

In the shipping notification email that is dispatched to the customer at the time of shipment, you are already aware that the address shown to the customer is the same as they entered.

We do have a few different address verification systems in place that may not always be 100% identical to each other so I will be sure to forward this onto our Product Team. Feel free to send examples as they apply but I think we have what we need here to look into more of a standardization. Thanks!
