Automatic insurance

I went into settings and set the insurance as follows: Only insure domestic shipments when the order's value is greater than or equal to: $100 and yet when I created a manual order and entered Order total $: 500.00 and then pressed save & get rate....... The insurance was not automatically calculated based on the $500 order total

Hello Mark, and thank you for posting to our community.

Normally you will need to select a Carrier option from the Carrier drop down menu in the Ready to Ship page, before the insurance cost is applied to the Total at the top.

Can you try applying a carrier setting to your orders in the Ready to Ship page to see if that reveals the insurance cost for you? If not, would you please reach out to our Customer Success team directly using the contact information in the top left of your account.
