We would like to request a feature that would allow an automated email to be sent to eBay customers after they place an order, inviting them to opt-in to our campaigns/newsletters. The customers who click the link to opt in would be categorized as "OK for Marketing" in ShippingEasy, while those who do not opt in would remain "Transactional-Only".

Thank you for the post. While we do not currently provide an Opt-In email option, based on our understanding of eBay policies, anyone who orders from you on eBay is opted in for marketing already.
This means that any marketing emails sent from ShippingEasy, for your eBay customers would be ok. Customers could then use the Opt-Out option that is included with your ShippingEasy marketing emails, to opt out, if they prefer to no longer receive those emails from you.
You can, however create a custom automated email campaign and set your auto campaign rules apply to orders from your eBay store. This would then send an automatic email, inviting your customers to Opt-Out using the link at the bottom of the email if they don't want to receive your campaigns/newsletters.

I just wanted to touch base to let you know that this is still on our radar. We will be sure to update this post if this feature becomes available.
I would also like to see a link for a landing page where potential customers can opt-in to a newsletter. Typically, other newsletter services offer a landing page.
When creating a landing page, a business will offer something free, such as a special free download, in exchange for a potential customer subscrbing to the mailing list. Other options for a landing page include subscribing for a pre-sale event, or a special promotion/discount. A landing page with an opt-in would be a great way to add NEW customers to a mailing list and generate new sales.

A Sign-up form is a good step in the right direction. I would still like to see landing pages added to your email marketing platform. Please note that a sign-up form is different than a landing page.

Hi all,
Great news! We have released a new feature within Customer Marketing called Signup Forms. This is located under the Marketing tab in the blue bar.
Customer Marketing signup contacts are single opt-in by default. This means each time someone fills out and submits your signup form, we will automatically add them to your primary contact list as Available for Marketing. This makes it easier for people to join your list, which can be helpful if you're selling a product or capturing customers on the go.
Note: Double opt-in is not currently supported with the Customer Marketing feature.
