ShippingEasy needs to allow a separate funding source for all ShipInsurance charges. Why? The use-case is that I am a consultant and I want to offer a complete solution to my clients. This includes offering and paying for the monthly shipping features offered by ShippingEasy. But, I don't want to pay for postage and insurance charges, just for the software. Right now, you can only set a separate funding source for the monthly subscription fees (I pay) and the Endicia account (or Fedex, et. al.) (my Client pays). But insurance is lumped together with monthly subscription.
Now, I need to make my client pay for everything and provide a $29/month credit back to them, which is hokey...

I pay for my client's monthly subscription fee for ShippingEasy, but they pay for postage. But all insurance fees hit my credit card. This is unworkable.
SE needs to be able to input/choose and independent credit card so that I (consultant) can continue to pay for the monthly subscription fees, but Client pays for all postage and insurance fees. If SE wants to be promoted by consultants like myself, billing is a huge issue. Right now, I need to now make my client pay for everything and credit him $29/month as my contract with him includes the SE subscription. Am I correct in all this? Can you submit this as a feature request?

Yes, you are correct, any additional insurance fees are billed to the same credit card on file for the subscription plan. This is because Shipsurance bills ShippingEasy for all Shipsurance charges to keep insurance costs low. ShippingEasy will then parse out the billing for those twice weekly. Because postage is purchased from our label partner Endicia, they are unable to accept payments for additional insurance. I strongly suggest, however that you place a feature request for your suggestion. This is how we monitor interest in changes to the app. These forums are regularly reviewed by our Product Manager and CEO.
