Stamps.com Conversion error

infrequent user of ShippingEasy (it's our backup). Over the past few months have logged in and been greeted with red error messages but didn't have time to troubleshoot. Needed access this week because of Christmas chaos and began troubleshooting to find that our balance transferred to Stamps.com, BUT ShippingEasy won't let us use it. It keeps telling us that Endicia has a zero balance therefore we can't print labels unless we add more money to our Endicia account, which is impossible to do. I'm caught in conversion purgatory... please help.

Hi Jim,

Thank you for posting to our forum!

I just disconnected the Endicia account.  Only the Stamps.com postage account is listed now so any future shipments should use that account instead.  If you run into issues purchasing postage, please let us know in the comments so we can assist further.

Still not working. On the "Ready for Payment" tab, I see this message:

Order Subtotal

Order Subtotal Endicia   $8.13
Postage Available Buy Postage $0.00
Order Total:   $8.13
ADD MORE SHIPMENTSFinish and Pay

Please add postage in order to continue.

Hi Jim,

I just moved the order back to the Orders page and then sent it to Ready to Ship again.  That should jumpstart it.  Also, please keep in mind that if you click Print Later instead of Add to Cart then you can pay the exact amount for the label.  If you generate the label from Ready for Payment then it would require a bit more than the label amount.  More info here: Why can't I buy labels with an exact amount in my account?

Hi Jim,

Will you please send an order to Ready to Ship so we can troubleshoot further with a live example?

Just put a fake order in Ready to Ship. It shows it's being shipped to a company called "DO NOT SHIP".

Hi Jim,

Thank you!

Our Development Team was able to adjust the postage account so it is providing rates now.

Happy shipping!

So, just noticed that my balance of more than $8 was dropped to a balance of $0.39. Did they buy a label when fixing the problem? Can I get a refund for the label?

Hi Jim,

I'm seeing that there was a label purchased on December 16th and that it was shipped out and currently on-route to the destination. Because it's on-route to the destination, I'm afraid that we're not able to cancel it for a refund since it was accepted by the Post Office. I've included a helpful article on logging into your Stamps.com account to see the label that was purchased and shipped.

I hope this helps!

So weird. Since I wasn't able to purchase the label through Shipping Easy, I purchased a label from Endicia/Dymo and it pulled from the Stamps balance. I'll have to keep an eye on that.

Hi Jim,

Please let us know if you are unable to purchase postage and print labels through that Stamps account!
