We recently toured a fulfillment warehouse, and saw a system in their custom shipping setup that would be great for Shippingeasy to implement. We are struggling to find a good way to reduce shipping errors while being integrated to Shippingeasy.
In summary, here's how it works:
- Once the order is on the screen, you scan a barcode on the packing slip and it verifies if it is the correct order.
- Then you simply scan each item in the order, if the SKU's and quantities match you get a "green light", and if not you get a "red light".
- There needs to be a manual override in case an item does not have a bar code or any other of many exceptions I can think of, but the default should stop the shipment until it is corrected or over-ridden.
