Eliminate shipping errors with an upgrade.

We recently toured a fulfillment warehouse, and saw a system in their custom shipping setup that would be great for Shippingeasy to implement.  We are struggling to find a good way to reduce shipping errors while being integrated to Shippingeasy.

In summary, here's how it works:

  • Once the order is on the screen, you scan a barcode on the packing slip and it verifies if it is the correct order.
  • Then you simply scan each item in the order, if the SKU's and quantities match you get a "green light", and if not you get a "red light".
  • There needs to be a manual override in case an item does not have a bar code or any other of many exceptions I can think of, but the default should stop the shipment until it is corrected or over-ridden.

Hi,

Thank you for your post. We currently work with Groovepacker and recommend this for customers using barcode scanning or pick and pack.

How to use ShippingEasy with Groovepacker

UPDATE: ShippingEasy retired the Inventory Management subscription in June of 2020. Our Product Catalog stores a comprehensive list of the products you sell and allows you to add your product information to leverage product and SKU details to ship more efficiently. Learn more about our Product Catalog.

Existing Inventory Management subscribers will still have the ability to use the features specific to Inventory Management, however, we are no longer supporting new subscribers.

This is a HUGE need for me.

I have over 600 SKUS and they are all very similar products (easily confused)

I have used ORDORO, ORDERHIVE, and SKULABS and they have this feature.

I agree with John it should have a manual override for a product with no bar code, it also needs to work with bundles. I have several Bundled products in my catalog and I sometimes only one of the sku is packed because they missed the part that said 3 pack.

I would pay an upgrade price for this as well.
