Amazon shipping vs Shipping Easy with APO addresses

Why does ShippingEasy require that I fill out additional package information and affix a customs form for sending a book to US Military bases, where Amazon's shipping for the same item requires no additional steps or forms?

While I cannot speak for why Amazon does not produce a customs form for your military mail shipments, I can assure you that ShippingEasy is complying with USPS customs regulations for military mail.
