Make a remember this setting for the ship date

A Remember this setting is needed for the ship date drop down calendar. Like in dazzle. Every time I run a batch, the ship date resets. It need to be remembered once it's forwarded.

I have some great news that I think will help you all out! We now have the ability to set the ship date to automatically advance to the next day after a specific time. This will be especially helpful for users who have a USPS pickup scheduled for the same time each day as they can now set labels created after this time to automatically default to the next days date. NOTE: this can be set up on a per user basis and has been added to the “My Account” settings under the option name "Automatically advance ship date after". Just be sure to "Update Profile" before proceeding to another page in the application. So glad we were able to get this feature released for you! Please keep the wonderful feedback coming!

Hi Michael,

Thanks for reaching out with this request. To understand further, can you explain why/when you would use this in an example scenario?

Question to everyone interested in this feature: Would it be useful if we always advanced the date after a customer-specified hour/minute of the day. For instance: If you specify that your USPS carrier always comes at 3:00pm, any shipment created after 3:00pm should have the date advanced to the next day.

Rachael, after a certain time of day, lots of us are preparing shipments that will go out the next day. The date has to be constantly reset.

Debbie,

Does this mean that the suggestion I offered would meet your needs or is there another idea you have? Essentially, what I mentioned could be some kind of rule.

It would help. Stamps.com has a default that can be easily set for what time to change the date. But it also allows that to be overridden, which is also valuable when the pickup is running late and there's another package that can be prepared. I'd rather have a default like this than a rule.
