Full control of email template? Or handoff to shopify?

I have a custom email template that I use for my order confirmation and drip campaign emails on shopify and via mailchimp, but when I attempt to use it with shippingeasy the editor strips 80% of the markup and styles out. How do I get the shippingeasy editor to allow me to use my full template?

Alternatively, how can I have shippingeasy not send a shipment confirmation, but trigger the shopify store to send its own shipment confirmation using the appropriate template there?

Hi Adam -

When a Shopify order is shipped with ShippingEasy, we will automatically notify Shopify that the order has shipped. Then, your specific ShippingEasy and Shopify settings will determine who sends an email and what that email looks like. You could configure both, one to send the email.

Shopify:

The confirmation emails cannot be turned off, but they can be edited. Learn more.

ShippingEasy:

You can turn on or off the option to send confirmation emails from ShippingEasy. Learn how to change this setting.

If you have HTML of the original message you are trying to replicate, you can copy that into ShippingEasy. These articles will provide the information you need to do so:

Hi Jennifer. Unfortunately your HTML email editor (under the wrench tool as per your linked article above) appears to accept only a subset of my HTML markup, which makes it largely useless.

Hi Adam - Thanks for giving that a shot. I'd be happy to look over your specific example in greater detail. In the email that you receive for this forum post update, would you reply to the email rather than reposting to the forum? Please copy and paste the HTML into the email or attach it as a file. I'd like to run it through our test server and escalate with our Product Team if needed.
