I can't change the ship from zip code on the fly. Even when I change it in settings and duplicate a label, I can't seem to change the ship from zip code.

It sounds like you are wanting to add an optional alternate ship-from zip code on the fly, is that right? If so, we do not currently support this as it does need to be edited within your store settings. Alternatively, you can try this rule to designate ship from zip codes.
