Manual Order Page

I think it would be great if there were a page dedicated to manual orders (not a pop up window).

We have a small gift shop and have customers that like to ship the products they purchase. Instead of writing their info down, I'd like to set them at a computer and have them type in the address themselves. The current "pop-up window" allows them to see and potentially edit all of our existing orders.

Even better would be the ability to have a separate login that only allows manual order entry.

Hi Jonathan,

This is a very interesting idea. I can forward this to our Product Team but in the meantime, I have a suggestion: Keep Excel (or the like) open so that the customer can add their info in. You can lock cells after each customer does so so that they can't edit a previous customer's order that may be on a separate line. Then, when the day is over, you can import the data to ShippingEasy via a CSV. Thanks again for the feedback and please keep an eye on this thread for possible updates.
For your reference, here are a few great articles on CSV uploads:

  2. ShippingEasy's sample CSV file

I hope this helps!

Hi Jonathan,

If I understand correctly, you only have your customers type their name and address for shipping and you do not actually have them to print the label and finalize the procedure. In this case I would use win-word on the screen for the customers and once they are done, you can simply copy and paste their info very easily. You can also set up an additional monitor for the customers only, with another set of keyboard and mouse installed on the same PC.
