Why is the postage cost for a 3 oz. First Class package $1.60 with Shipping Easy when it is $1.56 with another postage printing provider?

Hi there - Thanks for reaching out to us!

As you probably know, USPS changed their rates this past weekend. We detailed a summary of changes in this guide:

With these changes, USPS actually increased the Commercial Base rates for First Class shipments weighing 1-3 ounces in excess of their Retail rates (as Retail rates did not change). ShippingEasy is presently quoting the USPS First Class Commercial Base rates as they are published by USPS, in accordance with the rates that we receive from our label server, Endicia. You can review these rates in these tables:

Some other label servers chose to initially publish a hybrid rate class - with Retail for First Class 1-3 oz and Commercial Base for First Class 4-15.9 oz. We have been in discussions with Endicia about this option and understand that these lower First Class rates for 1-3 oz will also be available from Endicia - and ShippingEasy - within the next few weeks.

Unfortunately, I do not have an eta at this time. However, when approved the rates will update within ShippingEasy automatically. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns. Thanks!
