Need to customize From Name and Address for every package

I need to be able to customize the From address for each shipment.  Occasionally the sender will have a different zip code than the one we are sending from as well.

We ship about 200-400 priority mail packages per month this way.

The current work around by adding an address to the address book and then going back to select it would be to cumbersome to use.  

The ability to check off a box that allows us to update the ship from fields would fix this issue. (with the ability to state, shipping from different zip code as well)

Hi Michael, 

This is an interesting request. Your current workaround sounds like it's working, but is a bit of a task.

Are you thinking of an easy way to add or edit an address from the Ready to Ship would be the best option - rather than having to add it as a stored address?

Please clarify if this is what you are looking for and I can add it to our list of features to consider as well. Thanks!

I think the easiest way to allow this additional functionality is to do what Click and Ship does for the USPS.  If a check box was added to the create Manual order dialog box that when selected allowed the user to change the ship From Name and Address from the default ship From Address to any address they would like, that should do it.

Other thoughts:

May need to add the shipping from a different zip code on that page as well so we can supply the local zip code.

Also, adding the ability to supply the custom ship From Name and address within uploadable files would be helpful

I own a retail shipping business and this functionality would be welcomed from all the businesses working from within my space.
