Shipping Label Failed

I have linked my Shipping Easy Account with my Fedex Account...that seems to be working. However, when I attempt to purchase/print Fedex package labels on Shipping Easy, I receive the error message:

"This is the error message we've received back from FedEx:
ERROR (8201) - Service is invalid

I contacted Fedex thinking this was their problem and received this reply:

Thank you for using FedEx Online Support. I am sorry you are having that issue. You will need to contact Tech Support for Shipping Easy for assistance with that. They will need to contact FedEx Tech Support at 1-877-339-2774 Option 3 to troubleshoot how they are interfacing with the FedEx system. I apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you for choosing FedEx.
Sincerely,

Hi Mark,

Thanks for posting in our forums!

It looks like you did create some FedEx shipments on your account since your initial forum post.

We do get these errors directly from FedEx, so it is possible your account was not enabled for the service type you selected, or if it was recently added it is possible the API needed time to update.

FedEx is typically your best resource to override these errors since they generate the error message via the API, we don't have a way to override it. When you contact them, make sure to mention you are using their API via a third party application, and their API is generating the error.

Another great way to test available shipping/destination types is to input the same shipping information in FedEx directly to see if you have that option to ship. If you get the same error- it is certainly a limitation to your FedEx account permissions.

If you are still having issues, please leave a shipment in Ready to Ship with your selections and I'm happy to see if our developers can see any more detailed error messaging on the back-end. Just let me know!

Warm regards,
