Customer Note on Packing Slip not printing

Hello,

Has anyone noticed a changed with the customer note no longer printing on the packing slip?  I have been using this for while, but I have noted just recently on my last two shipments that the customer note is no longer being printed on the packing slip.  It is pulling the note from my shopify store.  The note is there in shopify but it does not seem to be transferring.  I noticed this yesterday and also this morn.

Hi Jo,

Thanks for posting in our forums!

I took a look at your most recently shipped order in Shipment History (**29) and generated the packing slip for this order. I was able to see the "Customer Comment" there. It looks like this is being entered as the Amazon Order ID.

Since it does appear you are entering this, is possible you are updating this after your order has synced to ShippingEasy? If so, that may be why this is not showing. Here is more information. 

When you look up the order in the global search on the top right search bar in ShippingEasy, you will be able to view the order details, including customer comments. For the orders that did not show a customer comment on the packing slip, does the customer comment show on the order details page?

If you have an example, please let me know and I'm happy to take a look! Please just post the last two digits of your order number and I will be able to find it. Also, please confirm that the customer comment is being entered in Shopify before the order syncs to ShippingEasy.

Hi,

The one that you viewed I had to manually edit inside of ShippingEasy, the note did not transfer directly from Shopify with all the other information.  Which is really strange, because it use to transfer.  All of the last 4 orders that were done today, were the same, there was a note in shopify with the Amazon Order ID, and when it sync orders, there was no note in ShippingEasy.  I took screenshots, so if you can send me an email, I can send you them, so you can further see what is happening.  With my Amazon orders, I manually create them in shopify, and at the time of creating the order, I input the order id, in the customer comment field, so it transfers over to ShippingEasy and will be included on the packing slip.  This is what I was doing, and until last week, it was working.  Please let me know if this additional information help, and thanks for your help in advance.

Hi Jo,

Thanks so much for the offer for additional information. Since your initial inquiry we have had a few more complaints and were able to confirm this behavior on our test store. You are correct, we are not currently displaying the customer comment from Shopify. We are prioritizing a fix for this as soon as possible and I will update this post when that is released. Thanks for bringing this to our attention! 

For now, updating this manually in ShippingEasy is the only way to get this to display on your packing slips- so sorry for the inconvenience. I will let you know as soon as this is fixed! Please let me know if you have questions in the meantime.
