Ability to send different email notifications for local pickup/dropship/manual shipping methods

 Hi,

I would love to see an addition to shipping easy where you could quickly "complete" shipments & send specific customer notification emails based on rules or chosen shipping method 

For example; as of right now, the only way to check completed orders that are local pick up or use a unique shipping method is to either delete them out, or mark as complete (which marks them as drop shipped). However, neither of those options send an email confirmation to our customers, letting them know that their order has been processed.

I need to have the ability to quickly mark an order(s) as completed on the main order screen. Similar to checking multiple orders and creating "bulk" shipments. I also need to be able to create shipping rules based on requested services or used shipping method that allow me to send specific notification emails to our customers that their order has been processed/completed.

For example; I want to check off "local pickup" orders in shipping easy, and have a custom email notification automatically sent, (like how an email is automatically sent when a label is purchased) alerting them that their order is ready for pick up. 

I also strongly disagree with the fact that an order "marked as ship" automatically counts towards your label use. I would like to see that changed. If I didn't use shipping easy to create a label & I am not even able to notify my customer that their order has been processed, why is that negatively being counted against me?

Completely agree with the original post.  Great idea and something our company could use particularly in the age of COVID.  I'm surprised this feature request isn't getting more attention.

Agree on the "mark as shipped" counting against your label total is rough; you're just paying for a connection to your store indicating an order has shipped.  That's worthwhile to be sure, but how much can that really cost SE, given you can endlessly refresh order status?  It's not a big deal for us since we don't have that many local pickups right now, but if we had more (see the age of COVID), then it's definitely a problem.
