Insurance not printed on label

I just purchased International postage with insurance.  The Label has printed 3 pages (Customs Declaration, Postage, and Dispatch Note).  Nowhere does it state insurance has been purchased.  In fact the "Insured Value" box is blank.

However, inside my Shipment History it states that I have in fact purchased insurance.

Is this normal, am I supposed to now hand write the insurance details on the label?

Thanks,

Joshua

Hello Joshua,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us about this. I can certainly clear this up for you.

The insurance that you purchase through ShippingEasy is through a company called Shipsurance. This is a third party (outside of USPS insurance) and will not be displayed on your label or customs form.

You will have a record of this in your reports and your Shipment History, and should you need to file a claim, you will be able to file that claim with Shipsurance.

We have more information available on how Shipsurance works if you click here.

Thank you and happy shipping!
