The #1 reason I end up cancelling and duplicating a label is I had a large order and forgot to add insurance. The ability to add insurance within 24 hours of printing the label and/or moving the insurance to a more noticeable location (right above the weight?) or add an extra line under the total shipping fee which says how much insurance was included/added sure would be helpful.
Not only does this mean I have to manually update my order with the corrected tracking # - I have to inform the customer to disregard the previous tracking # (since Shipping Easy does not offer an option of sending the customer ooops, please disregard the previous tracking # email) . We were also recently visited by our assigned USPS rep, who just happened to bring up the topic of cancelled labels being illegal to use further stating that the rep gets a list of labels and cancelled labels for their assigned accounts. We have NEVER used a cancelled label and the top 2 reason for cancelling - we used the wrong shipping type (customer upgraded to priority) and we forgot to add insurance (8 out of 10 times I forget to add insurance until AFTER I printed the label)
