WooCommerce not syncing suddenly

Hello,

An order came through my site on December 2nd just fine. I have not touched any settings in the meantime, but I had 2 new orders today - but they aren't appearing in ShippingEasy.

  • I previously switched to your new integration, so I no longer use the plugin.
  • REST API is checked.
  • My Store Settings in ShippingEasy says "connected" and everything appears to be correct.
  • Both orders are in "Processing", and I have "Pending" and "Processing" both checked in the ShippingEasy settings.
  • I'm running WordPress 4.8.3 and WooCommerce Version 3.2.3

Any suggestions? Thank you.

Hello Cynthia,

Thank you very much for writing in. There are occasional issues with the WooCommerce Rest API for orders that have had their status changed to a status we would download (in your case Processing and Pending) from one that we do not.

Do you know if these orders had their status changed?

As this is a known issue it is something that we are investigating. The problem has to do with how WooCommerce handles timestamps for orders that change their status. We have put in a ticket with WooCommerce for this issue.

I'm very sorry for the inconvenience, once we are able to work with WooCommerce to have this issue fixed all orders that enter a downloadable status should import once we sync that store again.

Regards,

Hi Matthew,

The order (along with an additional new one) showed up at some point this morning. The status was never changed by me, the only difference between that order that came thru late was it was a PayPal transaction, and the newer one that showed up immediately was credit card.

Hope that helps! Seems to be working ok for now; I will let you know if it happens again!

Hi Cynthia, and thanks for the update. I'm sorry you're still experiencing problems syncing your WooCommerce orders.

Can you give us the order number and status of the order that has not synced to ShippingEasy?

Thank you.

I'm having the exact same issue - my last two orders have not synced, both of which were processed in the last 4 hours via stripe.

HI Sarah, and thank you for posting to our community!

Currently we can only download orders based on created at time due to a Woocommerce Rest API limitation, which means that orders that have status changes are considered updated/modified which we are unable to query for, during our normal hourly syncs.

Can you check your orders status information on the right side of each order? If there has been a status change to the order recently, those orders will be synced during one of our 3 daily look backs, depending on the orders date.

If your orders still have not synced in, can you verify they are in a status that has been selected to sync in your WooCommerce store settings, using the step-by-step instructions in the link below.

How to: Select which order statuses sync from WooCommerce into ShippingEasy

If your orders are in a syncable status have not synced, can you provide us with the order numbers so we can investigate further?

Thank you.
