Send US a shipment confirmation for Amazon orders

0

I know SE can't send emails to Amazon customers, but it would be a nice help for our own reference if WE got shipment confirmation emails for all of our Amazon orders. It greatly helps us to track shipments from our email/by customer last name without having to sift through our SE shipment history. Thanks!

Hello David,

Thank you very much for your feedback! Customer feedback is incredibly helpful to us as a means of learning what could help our merchants, so we know which new features to build. This feature will be under consideration for prioritization.

In the meantime, have you considered setting up a custom shipping report and scheduling an export of the file to be emailed to you daily?

Our guide here explains what is included in our Complete Shipping Report: What data is included in the Shipping Report - Complete Shipping Report?

I realize there's a lot in that report, so here's a guide on How to create a custom report.

And lastly, our guide here explains How to: Schedule a recurring shipment report.

I hope you'll consider those alternative report options as a possible workaround.

If we hear this request from other customers, we will ask them to comment or follow here as well.

Thanks!

Hi Jacen - Thanks for the heads-up about the shipment reports. Do you know if there's any way to simply have the info pasted into the email instead of clicking a link to get a csv file, to download, to open, and scan for info? The whole point of the report for us is to assist with quickly finding Amazon customer tracking numbers for return processing. I'm trying to avoid ten extra clicks and entering customer name/search term. This is why simply sending us an email for each shipment works best - all I do is search their last name in our email and find everything from order to shipping info. The same way we can access all info for bigcommerce sales via our email since all info is sent to us. Thanks!

Hi David, thanks for the response.

The only quicker way to access that report currently would be to export it manually using the steps in the link below, however that will only save you a couple clicks.

How to: Export a preconfigured report

If you are only looking for Amazon customers/tracking numbers however, you could potentially just search your ShippingEasy account by the customer's last name, using the Global search field in the top right corner of your account. The results from the Global search will provide the tracking number.

Or you could also filter your Shipment History by the Store filter (Amazon), and then by time frame (In the last...) to view more shipments at once.

How to: Filter shipments in SHIPMENT HISTORY

If you have further use-case information you can provide in regards to your end goals with this information, that would certainly be helpful.

Thanks!
